The Spinney Lane Nursery

​The Spinney Lane Nursery School was purpose-built and opened in 1977. The nursery school backs on to Gilmerton Primary School playground and we have an enclosed, well established, natural garden which inspires curiosity and learning across all seasons.

We want to ensure all children have the best start in life. We want our learners to feel respected, happy, to develop friendships and to have a range of learning opportunities. Our setting reflects our diverse community and we value inclusion, striving to get it right for all of our Spinney learners.

The nursery currently offers full time places to children between the ages of three and five years old.

Full time hours are:

8.30am-3.00pm Monday – Thursday

8.30am-12.30pm Friday
